Mauga Mu wins top spots at the 1st Annual Toa Afi Competition

This past Sunday, Floridians gathered together to share their passion for the Samoan Fireknife Dance. With competitors coming in from Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando, the support for each competitor was definitely a community affair!

Congratulations to brothers Toa Milford (1st Place Little Warriors Division) and Isaako Milford (1st Place Junior Warriors Division) of Mauga Mu for their win! Their hard work is definitely paying off.

Congrats to all who placed and kudos to all who have participated. It’s not easy being a fire knife warrior and it is so encouraging to see the culture thrive on the east coast. Wonderful job to Matuni Vaiaoga, Jr. on a successful event!
