Charlene Oloa is the eldest child of Evelyn and Isitolo Oloa and has been dancing since the age of 3. She has competed throughout the United States and has won first place in Tahitian Soloist Freestyle, Tahitian Group Presentation, Hawaiian Speech, and Tahitian Group drumming in competitions located in Oahu, Kaua'i, California and Florida.
When the family decided to move back to Hawaii in 2009, she stayed in Orlando, FL to finish college and continue the dance company. She currently teaches classes for Kalena's in Winter Park, FL and runs the web, and e-commerce operations for both locations.
Her passion is promoting representation and wellness in the Polynesian community. So, she started ShopKalenas, which features Polynesian-inspired "athleisure" gear.
