Natalie "Nati" Oloa is the youngest of the Oloa Ohana and is extremely diverse in her competitive career. She began dancing at age 3 where she started her competitive career in Ori Tahiti.
At the age of 10 she began learning Samoan Fire Knife Dance from her father, Isitolo Oloa, who was the original founder and lead instructor of Mauga Mu at that time. Naturally, she then began competing yearly at the Polynesian Cultural Center for the World Fire Knife Championships.
During her time as a student at Kahuku High School, she dove deep into Maori culture where she learned the art of Poi and Mau Rakau under the direction of the Makekau Family and Te Kohao o Hawaiki.
In all, she has won top honors in Solo Tahitian Dance, Tahitian Group Presentation, Samoan Fire Knife, Samoan Taualuga and Maori Group Presentation. In 2023, in addition to being the lead instructor and lead dancer for Kalena's Polynesian Ohana, she has also founded Vaitupuna, a dance school that specializes in Siva Samoa, which also includes taupou training and blade dance.
